Nicholas Bate inspires me like no one else does – via his blog and intuitive lists. He is also very generous to have shared some of his best work with me.

Success is relative (not because it brings many relatives with it!) but because everybody’s definition of success is different. Nicholas Bate outlines some of the ground rules of being successful via his list “Success 25“.

Following are 5 Ground Rules for being successful that I liked the most .

 To be successful –

• Accept that it will be hard to get what you want.
• Switch your focus to
• the journey not just the destination
• and internal success (you love what you do)
• Start

I have seen many of my friends who know what success means to them, but they just keep thinking about it. To be successful, it is important to start. Make early mistakes and re-align. People who don’t start seldom get successful. People who start once and experience early-wins will seldom stop in their journey towards being successful.
